Teaching Philosophy

My teaching philosophy is deeply influenced by the educational principles of John Dewey and Paulo Freire, where I believe learning should be an active, participatory, and transformative experience.

I believe that knowledge is best constructed through active engagement and real-world application. In my classroom, I implemented a variety of teaching strategies, including the 5E model, POE (Predict-Observe-Explain), experiential learning, activity-based learning, and inquiry-based learning. I also integrate strategies like collaborative learning, problem-based learning, and flipped classrooms to foster critical thinking, communication, and self-directed learning. By leveraging both constructivism and connectivism, I encourage students to actively participate in their learning, emphasizing that knowledge is co-constructed through interaction with others and the environment.

I want my students to leave the classroom not only with knowledge but with a sense of ownership over their learning journey and the confidence to contribute meaningfully to society.
